Tulip

Sultan had captured chests of loot from the conquest. Jewels, diamonds, golds, some haritage maps, skilfully designed bloody swords... All of them was ordinary treasures that Sultan gets after every war. Only one chest was so different from the others. It was full of bulb! Sultan had has no idea what are these. It was first that he has seen something like that. Maybe kind of food or a poison...
He immadietly called the guards to take the chest away. "throw out these cursed things from my palace!"
Soldiers were confused. They couldn't figure out why Sultan wants to take away these bulbs. They were seem quite harmless. Still soldiers carried the chest to the city wall. city wall were built around the 7 hills of Istanbul. Soldiers throwed all bulbs down over there. Bulbs scattered and rolled on the ground, spread everywhere.
Weeks come and gone. Seasons has changed. After rainy days the sun shone throughout the land. Finally spring has arrived. People in Istanbul discovered some blooming flower new in their garden, at street and everywhere else. People thought that gorgeous flowers are gift from the Sultan. All town was covered by these flowers which would called as "lale" (tulip). Today Lale is not only a flower in this town but also the messenger of spring.
